Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for entries for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “Botanicals” online art competition for the month of July 2013. The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us their best interpretation of the theme “Botanicals” by submitting their best botanical and floral art for inclusion into the gallery’s August 2013 online Group Art Exhibition. We encourage entries from artists, regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best botanical art. Botanical art will include flowers, herbs, leaves and plants.

eva International, Ireland's biennial of contemporary art, is pleased to announce the international open call for proposals for the 2014 edition, curated by Bassam El Baroni. Applications are invited from individual artists or groups in any medium and can be for the presentation of existing works or production of new projects. The Torrance Theatre Company is presenting "Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka" this summer at the 500-seat Armstrong Theatre. The show opens on August 3 and runs through August 17. In conjunction with this production, we would like to temporarily exhibit artwork that fits the aesthetics of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as you may know it by its 1971 film adaptation or the more recent movie starring Johnny Depp. The production's look will have a slight steampunk edge, but the work does not have to be steampunk.

Two-dimensional work would be easiest to install, but I will consider small sculptures. There are 3 walls - 13' x 23'; 12'x18'; and 12'x10'. Works can be for sale, and information on the artists will be made available. No commission will be taken.

Art initiative id11 organizes artist-in-residence projects in temporarily available spaces such as vacant shops, office spaces or apartment buildings to be demolished or renovated. During the months of August and September 2013, id11 invites 8 professional artists from the CreArt network (www.creart-eu.org) to create site-specific artwork in Delft, The Netherlands. Preference is given to works with a wide variety of media and diversity of approaches. In a period of two month the participating artists will work towards a final public presentation.

In connection with the construction of a new Center for Children and Youth at Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, Norway, the Art Committee invites artists to submit pre-qualification proposals. The purpose of the pre-qualification process is to identify candidates for two closed competitions.

Garden areas:
For the outdoor areas, we are seeking light-based artworks. The total project budget is NOK 3.5 million.

Entrance area:
For this area, we are particularly interested in interactive artworks in electronic media. The total project budget is NOK 1.75 million.

Call for artists (2D, 3D and video) who consider Rumi in their concept and or their work. "Kopru, Ruh ~ Bridge to the Soul" is an intercultural collaborative online and traveling brick and mortar art exhibition that brings together artists from across cultures. In March 2013, Art 4 All People, the brick and mortar gallery space of AY Atelier, orchestrated a sacred collaborative experience, which embodied the search for meaning in life. The exhibit Bridge to the Soul is a social sculpture, where ART the artist, the participant, and the natural world unify and become embedded within the divine matrix of all life.

This meaningful exhibit, which is going to grow and transform into global pilgrimage both is called Kopru, Ruh ~ Bridge to the Soul."

With the life and poetry of 13th century mystic Rumi as an inspiration, the intention for the project is to shift the world's attention towards Love.
