Torrance Art Museum is looking for Southern California based Video Artists for a one night marathon screening on Saturday, September 14th from 6pm to 9pm.
Bring a DVD or Blu-Ray of your best Video Work and bring your friends!! Video work is limited to 5 minutes each, one work per artist. If you plan to bring work RSVP to LDeSmidt@TorranceCA.Gov, spots are limited so RSVP ASAP!!
At the end of the screening we will take a vote. The video with the most votes will get to have their Video in one of Torrance Art Museum's future Exhibitions in our Dark Room Screening Room. Best of all, video's screened on September 14th, will be considered for a museum exchange program with FRIEIS Museum in Berlin taking place next year!!

Submissions are now being accepted for the first edition of Warsaw Photo Days Open Programme based under the theme 'CLASH'.
Open Programme welcomes entries from visual artists both nationally and internationally, supporting all disciplines of photographic (and photography-based) practice.
Our Jury will select 3-5 projects which will be exhibited during the festival (Warsaw, Poland).
What about your personal yoga practice inspires your artwork, and likewise, what about your artistic practice inspires your yoga practice? Is your work inspired by the philosophy, the anatomy, the asana (poses), history, mythology, chakras?
This show will explore what happens when our yoga and artistic practices combine.

This year at AGCC we are interested in the stories that are told within and around our community. Our Main Gallery space is dedicated to showcasing these stories. We are seeking artwork that contains strong narratives, ranging from issues of culture and identity to diversity and adversity. discarded, or found as trash; things that were not necessarily meant to
be artist materials, were meant to be disposed of – objects and
materials that could have and would have been trash, but have been

Open to all Southern California artists who can drop off and pick up
