Know Your Server attempts to show the audience member that throughout
Los Angeles, one is surrounded by aspiring artists, musicians, and most
importantly, dreamers in disguise. With high rent and living conditions
in the City of Angels, and living in a time with little federal funding
for public works projects to keep artists employed, artists of any
medium must spend most of their time working one or many service jobs.
They are your baristas, your waiters, your sales associates by day; by
night they create art. This project will show one artistic work from 100
different Artists along with a photograph of them in their work

The City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) Public

site-specific public artwork for newly constructed Police Department
(LAPD) and Fire Department (LAFD) facilities located throughout Los

The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) Public
Percent-for-Art Program is seeking professional curators interested in
creating permanent exhibitions at newly-constructed LAPD facilities
located throughout Los Angeles. The DCA, through this partnership with
the LAPD, is interested in creating interior and exterior arts
corridors at approximately eight LAPD facilities in order to transform
daily encounters into opportunities to educate, engage, and impact
LAPD staff and the visiting public via site-specific, curated

The Bronx Museum of the Arts has proudly launched the smARTpower program.
smARTpower will send fifteen U.S. artists abroad to work with local artists
and young people around the world to create community-based art projects.
The objective of smARTpower is to support the U.S. Department of State's
Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs mission to increase mutual
understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries,
