Share Your Talent and Brighten the Futures of Inner-City Youth as a Paid Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First Artist/Mentor
Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First (TOHYF) is a 501(c)3 community-based organization whose mission is to prevent and intervene in youth violence by involving underserved, low-income youth and their families in extended, high quality, standards-based, multidisciplinary arts educational workshops. We are now selecting experienced artists in various disciplines to teach Theatre Of Hearts/Youth First Artist-In-Residence Program interactive arts workshops to at-risk youth ages 4-18 at schools, probation facilities, and community-based sites in Los Angeles County and Orange County.

The Center for Book Arts is pleased to invite Artist Members to submit
artworks produced post 2005 to be considered for the 2011 Artist Members
Exhibition tentatively titled: The Photograph Un[framed]. The exhibition is
to be organized by Doug Beube, Mixed-Media Artist and Photographer, Curator
of Allan Chasanoff Book Works Collection, and Adjunct Professor in the
Department of Photography at Parsons New School of Design, and Alexander
Campos, Executive Director and Curator, The Center for Book Arts. This
exhibition, featuring current members of CBA's artistic community and other
invited artists whose work will further the discourse, will focus on how the

Art in Odd Places seeks a NYC based curator or curatorial team for its 2011 festival, RITUAL.
Art in Odd Places' seventh annual festival will take place for the fourth year on 14th Street in Manhattan. AiOP is an art festival placing visual and performance art into the public realm, engaging pedestrians and passersby. AiOP's mission is to stretch the boundaries of communication in the public realm by presenting artworks in all disciplines outside the confines of traditional public space regulations. AiOP reminds us that public spaces function as the epicenter for diverse social interactions and the unfettered exchange of ideas. Past curators have included George Spencer (2008), Erin Donnelly, and Radhika Subramaniam (2009) Petrushka Bazin and Yael Amir (2010).
Global Water Dances is a world event planned for June 25, 2011. On this day, a 24 hour series of dances around the globe will be danced, centered around water issues. Beginning in the Western Pacific Rim, and encircling the globe, the series of dances will also be broadcast online.
