Asia Art Archive (AAA) initiated Open Platform in 2011 for cultural practitioners to present their projects on a global stage. This year, as ongoing cultural partner of Art Basel's Hong Kong show, AAA's Open Platform transitions from stage to booth by offering a platform for researchers, curators, writers, artists, students, academics, and art organisations to hold open meetings that might further their ongoing projects, catalyse new ones, or simply be an opportunity to make connections.

The City of Cassano d'Adda presents for the year 2013, the second edition of 'Ecoismi' a contemporary art event that takes place in the Natural Park of the Island Borromeo.

As already in 2012, the theme of 'Ecoismi 2013' is the combination of man and nature.

Members of the jury - Bernd Euler, Lise Harlev, Leonard Kahlcke, Patrick Koch, Tina Kohlmann, Miná Minov (prize winner 2012), Claus Richter, Tina Schott, and Michał Sznajder - are glad to announce the SZPILMAN AWARD in 2013, still the one and only award for ephemeral works worldwide.

The SZPILMAN AWARD is awarded to works that exist only for a moment or a short period of time. The purpose of the award is to promote such works whose forms consist of ephemeral situations.

Everyone can apply. Worldwide!
There is no participation fee.
