All disciplines encouraged to apply
High Voltage is a new late night performance series of original
contemporary and experimental works in dance, theater, multi-media and
music. Each monthly edition presents works that requires minimal technical
support, and are no more then 45 minutes in length. In an effort to create
new opportunities for both emerging and established L.A. based artists,
Performances/Installations/Happenings should be minimal tech, in a 菟op-up
" fashion to take place in our large street-level dance studio, in Venice.

Now accepting submissions for Truly CA Season 9.
Deadline for Truly CA: Our State, Our Stories is sneaking up: January 11, 2013.

Truly CA: Our State, Our Stories is a TV series airing feature-length documentaries every month on Sundays at 6pm, a new time slot where KQED will highlight independent works.

Entries must arrive at KQED by Friday, January 11, 2013 at 5pm -- this is not a postmark deadline.

We've jumped off the towering sand dunes on Ireland's Atlantic coast, electrified a crumbling sports arena in Washington DC, driven at top speed through Dublin's docklands and danced a dance in the shadow of a tree in a Kenyan fishing village - now WE WANT YOU! to help us make Ireland's first ever site specific arts festival BIG House.

BIG House is a Cultural Carnival taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Castletown House, Co Kildare next August. We're looking for Artists of all disciplines to transform this historic estate for the festival. And we're also hiring a Marketing and Commercial Manager to help make this happen. Full details below!

Call for Entries – 2nd Annual All Photography Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 2nd Annual “All Photography” online art competition for the month of December 2012. Photographers from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for inclusion in to the Gallery’s January 2013 online group art exhibition. Light Space & Time encourages entries from all photographers regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field. All digital, film, manipulated, alternative photographic and printing processes will be accepted into this competition.

Doc Lab 2013

Film Independent invites talented filmmakers with compelling, original feature length documentary projects to submit for the 2013 Documentary Lab.

The Documentary Lab is an intensive seven-week program running in Los Angeles in March and April. Filmmakers currently in post-production on their documentaries will receive creative feedback, and mentorship on developing a strategy for the completion, distribution and marketing of their film.

Lab Fellows will meet with film professionals who can advise them on both the craft and business of documentary filmmaking. Several guest speaker sessions with established documentary filmmakers are also a key component of the program.

THE VIDEO COMMUNITY WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 01 - AN INTERNATIONAL VIDEO ART REVIEW, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE

THE 01 Video Art Review is the first edition of presentations of videos by artists – both art students and established artists – from all over the world. The jury will choose the 5 best works, which will be promoted on the THE VIDEO COMMUNITY webpage http://thevideocommunity.com/en/community The main screening will take place at a selected venue in Krakow (Poland) and there will also be two online screenings accessible on the internet.
