KINO DER KUNST, a new and worldwide unique combination of film festival and art exhibition, will hold its first edition from April 24 to 28, 2013. Movie theatres and museums all over Munich will present an International Competition, retrospectives, special focuses, talks and multi-channel installations. KINO DER KUNST investigates the relationship between visual art and cinema, the programmatic focus being the current approach of filming artists to fiction and narration.

IASKA is calling for Expressions of Interest from artists working with visual, digital and hybrid media who are interested in participating in the second iteration of spaced, IASKA's recurring event of socially engaged art. This new event will comprise 16 residency-based projects that will take place in regional Western Australian locations throughout 2013-14, followed by a group exhibition of the residency outcomes at the Western Australian Museum (WAM), Perth in early 2015.

Coming this November 30th & December 1st, 2012 - Detroit will be hosting an Art and Entertainment event of natural and unnatural disproportions: Odditorium Detroit

The WRO Media Art Biennale is the major forum for new media art in Poland, and one of the leading international art events in Central Europe. Picture This Gallery is now accepting artwork for the 1st Annual Dia de los Muertos Exhibit.

This is a joyous occasion when the memory of ancestors and the continuity of life is celebrated.

We are also looking for altar submissions.

Also, we are accepting artwork for the Annual La Virgen Art Exhibit, one of our biggest events of the year.

For this exhibit, we are looking for artwork that depicts the artist's own interpretation of La Virgen, the Virgin Mary.

Both calls are open to all mediums.

Call for performance art videos for the grand opening exhibition at LIFT Gallery and inclusion in a new online database of performance art.

Videos should be between 1 and 10 minutes on any theme.

There is no entry fee.

Top three jury selections will receive $200 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third.
