Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces their 4th Annual International 2017 “ALL Cityscapes” Online Art Competition to be held from August 13, 2017 to September 9, 2017. Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at Contemporary Art Gallery Online from September 10th to October 7th, 2017. Artists should submit their best representational and non-representational art. This competition will be judged within three categories; Paintings, Photography & Digital Art and Mixed Media & 3D Work. Awards will be given for the top 5 to 8 works selected, (this will depend on the number of submissions in each category).

Artists working at all levels and in all media are invited to apply for inclusion in the group exhibition UPROOT. Submissions will be accepted through September 13.

For the Fall 2017 exhibition, UPROOT, Smack Mellon will present an exhibition engaging with the current state of affairs since the 2016 presidential election. The exhibition runs from November 18th through December 31st.

The exhibition will form around curated artworks, artifacts, objects, mandates, proposals, performances, and public programs. In collaboration with curators, collectives, and artists we will directly consider artwork and public programs that address: social justice

CALL FOR SILENT VIDEOS

Call for silent videos to be presented at the Arts on Division Festival, Somerville, NJ, to take place September 14-17.

Open to original work in Video. Videos will be presented with no audio. Duration may not exceed 5 minutes per piece. There is no minimum duration.

Work originally created in both digital and analog formats are acceptable. All video styles will be considered, including shorts, poetic, animation, narrative, abstract, and documentary. The exhibition will include single channel presentation of accepted works. Pieces will be on a loop shared with other artists/pieces.
