Project 59.Inc is glad to announce an open call for the fifth exhibition in the Brural series (a collaboration between artists and curators from greater Brooklyn, NY and the Ural region in Russia) with guest curator, Ilya Shipilovskikh and artists from Perm city and its region. The differences in existence in different systems of coordinates - geographical parameters of the places along with social and cultural environments is the theme of the next BRURAL exhibition

BRURAL: The Freedom for Irregularity

From high school Physics we know that irregular motion is a movement where a body travels an unequal distance at regular intervals. It appears that this formula is not only for bodies in Physics but also for the world and society we live in.

I am sending you an information about the Open Competition called “Imagining New Eurasia.” We are inviting anyone who lives in, or from, Eurasia [from Portugal to Behring Straight] to give us a work and idea about what the future of Eurasia could be. This competition will be an important part of a project that I am organizing at the new Asian Cultural Center in Gwangju, South Korea. Selected works from this Open Competition will be exhibited there from November 25th, 2015.

EMERGENCY is Aspex's biennial open submission group exhibition, which seeks to highlight the work of emerging visual artists working in all media. Submissions can be made by artists from anywhere in the UK or abroad. There are no age restrictions, but undergraduate students must be in their final year of study. The exhibition is not themed.

Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces their 2nd Annual International “ALL Animals” Online Art Competition for the month of August 2015. Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at Contemporary Art Gallery Online during the month of September 2015. Awards will be given for the top 5 chosen winners. In addition to the winning images, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries received, Honorable Recognition awards will also be presented. This competition closes August 31, 2015. Winners will be announced on September 14, 2015.
