Perspektive – Fund for Contemporary Art and Architecture, initiated by the Bureau for Visual Arts of the Institut français Germany, aims to support projects happening between France and Germany. It is funded by the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture, the Institut français and the Goethe-Institut and it is supported by the Deutsche Bank to reinforce the cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The call for projects by Perspektive runs until November 29.

Call for L.A.-Based Artists - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

CURRENT:LA Water will establish the city’s first Public Art Biennial for Los Angeles. Led by the City of
Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) Public Art Division, the initiative will utilize public sites throughout L.A. neighborhoods for temporary art projects that aim to generate civic discourse on the issue
of water and allied topics such as infrastructure, drought, ecology, and conservation, among others.

BACKGROUND

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 5th Annual “Botanicals” Juried Online Art Competition for the month of October 2015. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photographers) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s November 2015 online group art exhibition.

Botanical and floral subjects would be considered to be any 2D or 3D art depicting flowers, herbs, leaves and plants. We will accept art on this subject that is either representational or abstract.
