The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art (LAAFA) is currently looking to hire a highly motivated Part-time Admissions Director. The qualified candidate will work with a talented team of individuals in a creative environment where they will have the opportunity to make their mark in the world of art education.
LAAFA offers a full time, 3-year studio art program with a focus on a disciplined approach to representational painting. Within this framework, we offer a broad range of technical and conceptual approaches to the articulation of the perceived and the experienced. International (CEI) Grants are now available on the City of LA

for international residency programs starting in April 2011 and ending
no later than June 30, 2012.
CEI provides fellowship support to creative professionals (artists, arts
administrators, arts/cultural educators and scholars, curators,
presenters, creative entrepreneurs, cultural innovators, and cultural
experts) traveling abroad for intensive residencies (two weeks to three
months); or creative professionals coming to Los Angeles for intensive
residencies (two weeks to three months) who have planned collaborative
