The City of Buena Park's Exhibiting Artist program provides local and
international visual artists an opportunity to display artwork at the Buena Park
City Hall for eight weeks. The program is intended to nurture working
relationships & partnerships between local and international artists,
presenters, arts organizations and the greater Buena Park community.
The City of Buena Park is currently looking for POP ARTISTS interested in a
possible group exhibition for 2011.
Open to artists working in painting, design, photography, and mixed media. No
installations or sculptures can be accepted. All artwork must be larger than
16"x20" for exhibition.
Artwork Submissions must include artist resume/bio, artist statement, and 3-10

The Behring Institute is seeking placebos for art. With these placebos, long-term research on the influence of art on public health will be carried out. Artists, art lovers, professionals as well as amateurs, are being called on to submit proposals for potential art placebos before 1 January 2011.
Relationships between art and healthcare, as well as the influence and effects of art on health, have been studied frequently. The results of many studies indicate a positive outcome with regard to the health of people and suggest that art can lead to the improvement of mental and physical health.
SoundCinema: Call for Artists/Sound Artists/Film Makers

SoundFjord, London's only sound art devoted gallery and research unit is currently programming films/AV work for a 'sound season'. The works will be screened at a renowned arthouse cinema in London, c. Nov/Dec 2010.
SoundFjord is open to ideas, though as a guide, here is a list of what we are currently interested in screening:

PQ Sound Curator Mr Steven Brown invites composers and sound designers to join The Sound Kitchen and offer ideas for 15/20 minute pieces to be played, or activated, live by them using a laptop computer, and/or any other type of mobile device (eg iPod. iPad, mobile telephone, cassette recorder!).
