USHERS AND TICKET TAKERS
The JOHN ANSON FORD AMPHITHEATRE is looking for people with energetic
personalities and positive attitudes to be Ushers and Ticket Takers at
the over 100 performances presented at the Ford Amphitheatre this
summer. The 1241-seat outdoor Ford Amphitheatre is set in the Hollywood
Hills just across from the Hollywood Bowl and features multi-cultural
events including music, dance, and film festivals. The Ford
Amphitheatre Season is a program of the Los Angeles County Arts
Commission.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under supervision of the House Manager, greeting and
directing theatre patrons; providing information and assistance in
routine and emergency situations; distributing programs; tearing
tickets; seating patrons and responding to patron inquiries with an

Job Description: The Operations Coordinator

Theme & Eligibility:
This is an open call to professional women artists based in Los Angeles
County and Orange County. The theme of this exhibition is the glory of
spring and the heat of summer.
Selection Process:
The Curator of Exhibitions for The Women's City Club of Pasadena,
Margaret Danielak, owner of DanielakArt, and one member of the Board of
Directors of The Women's City Club of Pasadena, will select the
artwork. Professional artists may submit up to 8 works of art for

The Los Angeles art-collective Rogue Artists Ensemble is seeking a MANAGING DIRECTOR to work with Rogue Artists Ensemble's Staff and Ensemble of Artists. This key role will directly support the work of Rogue Artists Ensemble both locally in Los Angeles and also touring work. We are seeking a Managing Director to help in growing the arts organization including the Managing Directors fee. Although this will not be an instant occurrence, we are confident that with wonderful leadership and the support of the Ensemble, the company can take the next steps needed towards becoming a professional theater company.

MISSION STATEMENT: Angels Gate Cultural Center: unites art, community, and culture.
CONCEPT: In the year 2012, Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) will celebrate its 30th year in existence. As a precursor, the galleries will explore the South Bay/Harbor region from a topographical, cultural and historical perspective. With a focus on modern life in this region, AGCC will use a range of programming that encourages community participation through exhibitions, storytelling, workshops, dance, music and theatre. Angles Gate Cultural Center is seeking submissions of artwork that depicts the physical or futuristic landscape of the South Bay/Harbor region.

GALLERY ASSISTANT
Ace Gallery, an internationally recognized art gallery specializing in art from the 1960's to
the present, is seeking a highly motivated, educated and organized individual for the
position of Gallery Assistant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
o Assisting the directors in managing all gallery operations
o Assisting the gallery staff with exhibition preparations, preparing purchase orders,
and coordinating upcoming exhibitions and events, etc.
o Managing the gallery phones and directing calls
o Acting as the direct liaison with the public regarding current
and upcoming exhibitions
o Research projects
o Assisting the Image Department
o Maintaining social media accounts
o Providing general administrative support
Requirements:
Call to Artists: Now accepting applications for Arts in the Park in downtown Ventura, CA August 27 and 28, 2011. Artists of all fine art and fine craft disciplines may apply. Juried show. Booth fee $125 for 10x10 space. Artists must supply own tent/canopy. Outdoor festival featuring fine art and fine crafts, food, wine and refreshments. Volunteers provide booth sitting and assistance. Event will also include a chalk art fundraiser for a local charity and display of student art.
