Field Studies is a four-day summer-school led by three acclaimed sound artists and composers. It explores the possibilities of engaging with places through listening, and working with recorded sound as a creative and practical tool in architecture as well as composition and art practice.
I am seeking proposals & documentation for an exhibition & event at a Chelsea gallery to possibly happen in February about "Feminist Performance Art Historically & Now (The 70's & Beyond)".
I am seeking proposals for live performances - sound, video etc. as well as performance documentation (dvd's slides, videos, photos, notes, diagrams) of performers & performances from the 70's to now- famous as well as underknown!

Collections Associate
This is a full time, benefit-eligible, non-exempt position which will
last through completion of the Southwest Museum Collection Preservation
project and transition into further Collections rehousing initiatives
through 2013/early 2014.
The Collections Associate will work to re-house a variety of objects in
custom archival storage containers. Tasks include, but are limited to:
cleaning and condition reporting objects in the permanent collection,

service agency serving clients with developmental disabilities
throughout LA County, is seeking an experienced, full-time Art
Instructor/Printmaker.
The Instructor will work one-on-one with adult students with
developmental disabilities, teaching printmaking techniques and helping
them develop their own unique artwork for sale. Responsibilities also
include ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students, and helping
to maintain an overall enjoyable studio for all participants. Knowledge
and interest in contemporary art needed. Instructor will implement
artistic, educational, and behavioral treatment plans monthly.

LACE seeks a social media intern to promote, develop, and maintain all of LACE's social media platforms. This work includes archiving social media posts, as well as researching best practices and developing online modes of communication. Intern will create posts about LACE programs and other partners that are in our greater community. Using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Vimeo, and Instagram, the Social Media Intern will work directly with the LACE staff to communicate with our audience about exhibitions and events under supervision of LACE staff.
