Los Angeles County Arts Commission's Free Concerts in Public Sites Program Now Accepting Applications
With funding support from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the Arts Commission administers the sponsorship of free concerts at community venues throughout Los Angeles County to provide access to quality music programming representing the diversity of County residents. The program provides funding to cover the payment of musicians at community concerts offered free to the public. Applications for the Los Angeles County Arts Commission's 2013 Free Concerts in Public Sites Program are now available on www.lacountyarts.org/free.html. Applications are due on Wednesday, March 6.

This exhibit invites artists to respond to the concept of timekeeping and how it is represented today. Special consideration will be given to those works that are functional timekeepers as well.
So how do you as an artist respond to the concept of timekeeping?
This exhibit will be located in the special exhibit gallery in the museum. The space is approximately 450 square feet. Twelve exhibit display cases (25" x 16") are available for works needed to be protected under glass.
Deadline for submission: Received by Friday August 30, 2013. No exceptions. There is no entry fee.

Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague is currently
accepting applications for the 2013/14 academic year.
The MA program in Authorial Acting, taught completely in English, develops a
student's capacity to conceive and perform solo and collaborative
performances. We study what it means to be an author and an actor - an
authorial actor.
The program views acting and performance in a multidisciplinary manner as
creative public behavior. This encompasses artistic performance, but
students are also encouraged to go beyond traditional forms of performance
