KEYHOLDER RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Lower East Side Printshop, NY, offers emerging artists FREE year-long studio residencies to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The application deadline is September 1, 2018 for residencies that begin on October 1, 2018. Printmaking facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monotype, waterbased silkscreen, digital processes, and other techniques that employ the tools at hand.
Keyholders work independently in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio and have access to a vibrant community of peers. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended.

Call for Proposals: Public Programs, Fall 2018
Deadline: August 10, 2018
CUE is currently seeking proposals for artist-centered public programs including events, talks, and workshops to be presented at CUE. We invite proposals that address timely topics or issues related to cultural production and that contribute to CUE’s mission of supporting emerging and under-recognized artists.
Past Public Programming series include If It’s Not Work, It Must be PLAY: Discussions on the state of work in the arts, by Cevan Castle (2014-15); Make Some Place: Conversations about people, practice, and creative placemaking, by Jordan Dyniewski and perryne lee poy lokhandwala (2016); and Access/Points: Approaches to Disability Arts by Jeff Kasper (2017-18).

A.I.R. Gallery is now accepting submissions for its 13th Biennial. This open call invites local and international artist and welcomes works of all forms and disciplines. Submissions may range from studio art and design, film projects and publishing practices, sound and noise compositions. This year’s edition of the Biennial will not be limited to our New York space; the exhibition will extend to alternative locations as well.

ART511 Magazine is presenting EMINENT DOMAIN: a 3-day Flash Art Exhibition in the former Robert Miller space in West Chelsea is a curated selection of radical feminist art by female artists, eco-femmes, ghetto brujas, elders, queer/trans artists and other magical gender nomads reclaiming their rightful space in the Art World. The flash exhibition will occur, July 12-14, 2018.
