Flux Factory is seeking artists and creators to participate in our 2020 exhibition Season. Each year Flux Factory hosts four group exhibitions, organized by emerging curators selected from the wide cohort of recent Flux Factory Artists-in-Residence.
Thanks in part to the DCLA Disability Forward Fund, priority will be given to disabled artists or artists whose work addresses issues of disability and accessibility.

What will we create together?
The Creative Time Emerging Artist Open Call is a biennial initiative that offers early-career artists based in NYC the opportunity to create their first major socially engaged public artwork. Following the resounding success of the inaugural edition, which culminated in Risa Puno’s The Privilege of Escape, we are pleased to announce that we are now accepting proposals for your next dream public art project.

The Metro Tunnel Project is calling for experienced and world class artists to express their interest in creating a high profile public artwork for Melbourne’s new Town Hall Station. The artist will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary design teams to create a site-specific artwork that will respond to the station’s bold architecture. The new Town Hall Station will be at the civic heart of Melbourne and the artwork will form an important cultural marker for the many Melbournians who will pass through the station daily.

Calling All Book Artists: CBA is Accepting Solo Exhibition Proposals!
The Center for Book Arts is seeking solo project exhibition proposals from artists working within the book arts. Artists are invited to submit a project concept related to or experimenting within the Book format. IHRAF Publishes is a growing platform for writers to submit poetry, creative nonfiction, short fiction, essays or any other format that comes from the heart, and focuses on social and activist themes. We base our work on the values of beauty, sincerity, vulnerability and engagement, and hope that these will be reflected in the submissions!
We publishes 32 pieces last year from 9 countries and 10 states. We will begin the process of anthologizing this activist writing work toward the end of 2020, with the eye toward publishing the best of our work in early 2021.

MAC International is the largest arts prize in Ireland and one of the few major art prizes in the UK, offering artists from around the world an opportunity to exhibit at the MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre) in Belfast, with a prize of 20,000 GBP awarded to the artist deemed to have made an outstanding contribution to the exhibition.

apexart will accept proposals for its International Open Call from February 1-March 1, 2020. Four winning proposals will become apexart exhibitions presented in selected locations around the world as part of its 2020-21 exhibition season.
