Calling all artists! Submit your work to the #PercentforArtNYC Artist Directory to be considered for permanent public art projects across New York City. The Department of Cultural Affairs’ Percent for Art program commissions site-specific art installations in a variety of media: painting, lighting, mosaic, glass, textiles, sculpture, new technology, and works that are integrated into infrastructure and architecture.
Welcoming a broad range of artists that reflect the diversity of NYC, Percent for Art encourages interested artists to submit their work to the Artist Directory on a rolling basis and with specific deadlines for upcoming projects.

10x10 Photobooks is pleased to announce a new grant cycle and call for applications as part of its annual photobook research grants program to encourage and support scholarship on under-explored topics in photobook history. The first round was awarded in 2021, with the results of the research shared earlier this month. This year’s round continues a linkage with 10x10's project What They Saw: Historical Photobooks by Women, 1843-1999. For this round, we encourage proposals exploring work by women in Asia, Africa or Oceania (i.e., outside of the Americas and Europe). We view this scope broadly where the subject of the research might be from these continents or working there.
