Since Tate Modern opened in 2000, its programme of major temporary exhibitions, collection displays, commissions, live performance, and film programme has developed in diversity, scope and profile. In 2016 Tate Modern opened the Blavatnik Building increasing the scope and breadth of the exhibition and collection displays. The Tate Modern Curatorial Team ensures the highest standard of content and delivery of this programme.

Sugar Hill Children’s Museum is offering an 11-month residency to an artist whose practice will resonate with children ages 3 to 8 and their families, and reflect a relationship to the demographics, location and/or history of Sugar Hill. The selected artist will be granted access to a non-living studio (450 square feet), a $7,000 honorarium, and a culminating exhibition at the Museum.

MAC International is the largest arts prize in Ireland and one of the few major art prizes in the UK, offering artists from around the world an opportunity to exhibit at the MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre) in Belfast, with a prize of 20,000 GBP awarded to the artist deemed to have made an outstanding contribution to the exhibition.

Now in its third edition, MAC International presents a snapshot of the most exciting and ambitions art practices from across the world. The 2016 MAC International exhibition featured work by artists based in Ireland, the UK and Europe, as well as from as far afield as the USA, Iceland, Cuba and Brazil.
